Innovationseeds
Challenge: Although Europe leads in many environmental research areas it needs to accelerate the uptake of R&D results to produce policy measures and market success.
Solution: InnovationSeeds seeks to change this by communicating research results in a usable manner to policy makers and industry stakeholders. By creating a virtual library of promising R&D results it facilitated connections between researchers, policy makers, engineers and business experts to boost Europe’s performance in the green sector. The virtual library has subsequently been taken up by the inno4sd.net project.
Duration: September 2011 – August 2013
Greenovate! Europe were project coordinator, and led the work of screening research results and inputting the most promising into the virtual library.
