Fifteen Cities, One Agenda: Smart Cities projects come together to promote energy efficient district renovation

EU-GUGLE and the R2CITIES and ZenN projects have decided to join forces for greater leverage in sharing and promoting energy efficient renovation solutions for cities and communities EU-wide.This will be done by clustering a number of dissemination activities, including joint access to project workshops for members of the sister projects, web cross-linking, joint social media and events, and exchange of best practices.

More importantly, the projects have agreed to conduct their respective replication campaigns under the label “My Smart City District” and will involve a common identity and harmonised presentations. This initiative is geared towards the replication of sustainable renovation models for European cities and communities, and runs in parallel with the renovation works undertaken by the participating projects.

Together, the projects cover some 15 European cities from 10 different countries, including Aachen (DE), Bratislava (SK), Gaziantep (TK), Gothenburg (SE), Milan (IT), Sestao (ES), Tampere (FI), Vienna (AT), Genova (IT), Valladolid (ES), Kartal/Istanbul (TK), Grenoble (F), Malmö (SE), Eibar (ES) and Oslo (NO).
