AL-INVEST Verde: first call for projects with Latin America

AL-INVEST Verde published its first call for proposals this week. The programme will finance innovative Partnership Projects between Latin American and EU Business intermediaries representing the private sector, research centres & think tanks aiming at the green transition in Latin America.

To participate, project proposals must include at least one entity from a Latin American country and one from the EU. Eligible institutions are non-profit organisations from the EU and Latin American countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, or Venezuela.

The call for proposals has two lots: (1) Transition towards low carbon, resource efficient and circular business models and (2) Sustainable, deforestation-free agri-food systems and value chains. It will finance projects with a duration between 20 and 30 months. The deadline for submission of proposals is the 27th June 2022.
