SYMBIOREM webinar – Integrated bioremediation pathways: technology synergies and circular system

202610jun10h0011h30SYMBIOREM webinar – Integrated bioremediation pathways: technology synergies and circular system

Event Details

In the final webinar of the series, SYMBIOREM highlights one of the project’s core ambitions: demonstrating how different bioremediation technologies perform under real conditions. This goes beyond assessing individual solutions and examines how they work in combination, revealing where synergies and enhanced pollutant‑removal effects emerge. This work also investigates how recovered resources can be transformed into circular products, and how viable business models can be co‑created to support future deployment. Agenda and registrations.

Participants will learn:

  • How SYMBIOREM technologies were tested in combination, enabling the removal of multiple pollutants and demonstrating symbiotic effects observed across soils, sediments, and water systems.
  • How recovered materials can be transformed into circular products, and how utilisation pathways are identified through collaborative innovation with project partners and stakeholders.
  • How a circular bioremediation tool is being developed, integrating site data, technology performance, and design criteria to support real‑world decision-making.
  • How business models are being co‑created with stakeholders, enabling scaling, replication, and long‑term sustainability of SYMBIOREM’s circular bioremediation systems.

This webinar offers practical insights into SYMBIOREM’s technology testing results, early circular product concepts, and the ongoing business‑model development — highlighting advances for future large‑scale, circular bioremediation.
